From the schedules I've seen on Twitter, it looks like iOS 12 will be released to the Eastern Daylight Time Zone at 13:00 hours.... less than two hours from now!

Currently 18 minutes late (said in a sarcastic tone). But you have to be on iOS 12 before you can update to WatchOS 5.

Updating my iPhone X right now (coming from 11.4.1), if I remember right, it’s at around 1.9 gb’s in size and I’m doing this over WiFi atm.

Thx ! Just shortly after posting, I tried again on the Mac and the update for my X went quickly and smoothly. I started about 1:20 and finished by 1:35/1:40ish.

So far so good !

Ive got to say that since I never was on any of the beta’s for 12, that having an iPhone X I love being able to close out apps with a simple swipe up from being in the app switcher, versus the swipe up to app switcher/pause/swipe up steps that it used to be on 11.x.x.

I agree, the whole app close out thing is soooooooo much smoother now.....it’s like buttah lol
