Not sure how this will reproduce but at some point someone doing a screenshot of a post to show 'differences' between dark mode & inverted colours took the liberty to edit their screenshot photo & 'cross out' my reference to Beta which completely changed what I was saying... I meant to ( & did) indicate that I myself am not on any Beta that I know of. I did not suggest staying off betas - the 'cross out' changes the meaning and was not mine.

I didn’t intentionally do that it’s actually just the swipe up bar at the bottom of the screen that distorted it when I took my screenshot.

I fixed it. Sorry about that.

I tried dark mode for about 2 days and I noticed that when I was reading an article in Safari my eyes ended up hurting and I had “spots” in my vision when I looked away from the screen. I guess it’s light mode for me.

I wish you could set some apps to dark mode and others to light.

One of the most 'eye pleasing' features of dark mode IMHO, is that 'dark notifications'on the lock screen mesh very well with the fact that I've used 'noir' edits to a photo I took a long time ago-

which I've used as lock screen wallpaper ever since...

I'm using dark mode as I've wanted to see how it looks and feels. I've activated it on all my devices, my iPad Pro, iPhone XS Max and my MacBook Pro. So far so good I'm enjoying it and like how it looks. It does take a bit of time to get used to though in some apps more than others. I'm hoping that it helps with battery life on the iPhone since it has an OLED display.

Color me shocked: there’s a feature in 13 that I like?!?!?!
But yes: I really, really dig the dark mode!
Super easy on the eyes

I just don't get the whole "dark mode" thing. I have not installed iOS 13 (still too buggy), but I would not be using "dark mode" even if I did.

Until this thread I didn't even notice the automatic settings for Dark Mode at all. I will give that a try for a few days and see if I like it. Typically I have put it into Dark Mode and let it there since day 1.

During the day I use the standard color layout, in the evenings and at night I use dark mode.
