I’m testing it for you ;) I figured I could get by with 64gb but got 256 so we will see how it does by next year.

If you fill that up (and not trying ) I will be impressed.

But will be interesting to see as the year rolls along.

Honestly there should have been a 128 GB version.

With demand I think they did the right thing cutting it back. Less SKUs. And the price difference there was no room to shoe horn a 128 in there really. Unless they raised the 256 but they are already pushing the limits.

I doubt I’ll fill the 256 but we will see!

You should be fine with 64GB and will be even better if you have one of the iCloud services. I have 64GB in my previous phone. I have thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos plus 211 apps and I’ve used only 45% of my storage. I’m using the 200GB iCloud service for $2.99 a month. One of the best thing about it is I can now share my iCloud storage with my family since the launch of iOS11.

I definitely stand by my decision to get the 64gb 8+. My phone is essentially a dummy terminal with all the content in the cloud or elsewhere.

I figure I'll be just fine with the 64. I had my iPhone SE for a year and a half with quite a bit of use. I only used 12 of the very modest 16 that came with the phone.

I keep telling myself "I'm going to start making videos" and then a year later I haven't and I have a ton of space left.

I do the same thing!! I download all these video editing apps, and say I'm gonna use them all, but never do.:)
That’s when I go ahead and shut him down for the rest of the month

I used to do that with my nephew. He got so mad at me the first few months, but he eventually got used to abiding by the rules. I mean he had a brand new iPhone that I was paying for. The least he could do was only use the 6GB data allotment he had. Haha!

I have 16 gb per month for 3 of us. By the 2nd week my 16 year old son is already close to 5. I usually cut him off around that or 6. He still doesn’t learn

I’m currently saving to get the 256GB. I plan to download all my music to the phone (~50GBs) and some movies. That way I’m not using as much data to stream.

Plus, I live by the adage “I’d rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it”

I live by that too.
It’s always nice to have extra storage.

We were doing that for a while but it always seemed I spent more time trying to manage the usage that it got tiring. Now I don't have to worry about it at all which is nice.
