I am curious if anyone using a lifeproof case also has a screen protector? I have always used ghost armor with great success..I am going to upgrade to an iPhone assuming they have 4G lte. Will the extra screen proctor affect the case in a negative way? Thanks

I can't say for sure on the lifeproof, but my wife uses a otterbox defender, her phone also has a screen protector on it. She has no issues.

Also keep in mind that there are no iPhones with 4G LTE.

I use the LP case and they are great indeed. Now to address your question to have or not have on an SP. Technically your not supposed to have a SP on the LP because those few mm's that the SP takes up could affect the way the LP seals AND when using it in water etc. you want to be 100% sure that something is not going to compromise the seal of the case over all. I would highly suggest NOT using a SP while using an LP. I've never tried it and it's not recommended by LP either when using their case:)

I took my phone in a LP case to the beach with a screen protector on. I did notice a bit of sand inside the case, and threw it in my backpack after that. I had taken it to the beach before without the screen protector and had no issues. If any water did get in, I caught it before it was enough to ruin my phone, as it still functions fine. Screen protector's coming off when I put the case back on

Isn't it crazy how sand just seems to find it ways into almost anywhere !!

I had a Lifeproof case and ended up returning it. The screen on the case started sticking to the iphone screen. It made for a very annoying circle right in the middle of the screen. As for the OP question, never used it with any other screen protector.

Im also curious. I have the ghost armor Carbon Fiber skin on my 4S and am wondering if that would hinder the protective ability of this case.

LP cases are designed to be used without screen protectors. From the reviews here and there, it seems like most people who try to use the LP with other screen protectors/skins have trouble....

The LP case is designed to be used with a naked iPhone. I've used these cases since last early June and never had and screen protector on it. As pink said the case isn't designed for that and if you want it to be 100% waterproof don't mess around with the way it's meant to be used.

vgold, ask yourself this question: Does my current phone setup fulfill my needs? If you feel that it does then don't bother yourself about the LifeProof case. If it does not and you need something that provides greater protection, then why fret about it? Buy the LifeProof case and be happy.
