I've noticed this in Safari (11.0 (13604.1.38.1.6) and the prior version the past few weeks for the tab open on iMore. Have not see the message for Android Central.

After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
Thanks all. Realize now that I should have been more specific. Looks like this behavior may be a feature. Just noticed it tonight on the page below. This is with Safari running on Mac OS 10.13.

Your link is about wifi and Bluetooth on the control center.
Yes, that page in addition to some on iMore were reloaded by Safari for using significant memory. Thus I don't think the reloading is exclusive to iMore web pages.
Update, the page below was just reloaded by Safari 'because it was using significant memory".

How much RAM do you have on your Mac and how many tabs or windows or apps are you simultaneously running. The reason I ask is because I use a MacBook Air (8 GBs RAM) for work, and I have 10 or more tabs open via two different web browsers, Slack and Outlook running simultaneously all day long and I have yet to encounter what you’ve described.
