Serial Apple leaker Jon Prosser has stated "we probably won't ever get an iPhone 13", confirming that this year's new phone will be an 'iPhone 12S' upgrade and noting the negative connotations of the number 13.

If they use 12s I shall not mind, why should I ? But in 2022 providing the world still exists I’ll be thinking of a new phone, and shall be very peeved if they miss out 13 just because of a silly superstition !
