For the sake of completeness, I would like to see the year added to all dates at the bottom of screens on Apple Watch. To save space use the following format:

Thu 31 Aug 2017

Does anyone agree, or am I looking for a solution to a first-world problem?

The year!

Total first world problem
I’m a true believer that less is sometimes more. With the limited screen real estate on the Apple Watch I’m okay having to remember that it’s currently 2017.

Not me. I want the day and day of the week. If I don't know the year and month, I have bigger problems than what's on my watch.

Yes! Just knowing the day (and occasionally the date) is good enough for me. In fact I wouldn't mind having a 'clock' that does only one thing: show the day in big letters. LOL

There are devices that do that along but along with date and time, for people who are suffering the onset dementia. None are what I want. One day I may break down and maybe build something.
