Welcome to iMore! What do you mean by "it will not go further"? When you're on a call, you can go back to the homescreen, in which case a green bar appears at the top of the screen. You can either tap on the bar to return to the call or interact with the different apps on your phone like you normally would. Depending on your carrier, your connection to your carrier, and the settings on your phone, data may or may not be available while you're on a call (unless you're on wifi). So if you're not able to access certain apps that require a data connection, you may not be able to until you hang up the phone call.
