Local reports suggest that Apple's new iPhone is proving to be massively popular in India. Long lines have been reported at Authorized resellers and reports have described the buzz as similar to that of the launch of the iPhone 6 and 7.

I was not expecting the iPhone to be this popular in India. Looks like Apple will have a monster holiday quarter this year.
