The iPad Pro is the MacBook you’ve always wanted

Absolutely agree on both points: (1) iPad Pro DESERVES MacOS (a truly professional operating system); and (2) won't get it UNTIL Apple can no longer force users to buy both a MacBook and an iPad. I am particularly frustrated by the Apple iPad crowd that bombs forum threads like this with their "don't you dare take away our simplistic treasured iPad OS," as if a real OS would be a plague on iPad Pro. The Pro is a professional device and let it act like one. Give these users the option to lock it to "iPadiness only" mode if they feel so threatened by macOS on an iPad Pro. This already IS the replacement we all wanted for the severely underpowered MacBook 12 - just give it a real operating system Apple.
