Wow! I was just channel surfing and came across the kick-off show for tonight’s NFL Hall of Fame Game featuring the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans on ESPN.

Oh, and it’s nice to see two people who played at the ‘U’ among this year’s hall of Fame Class inductees - Andre Johnson and Devin Hester.

I hope so. Both teams have a great history and I hope this is the season they break through and be among the elite teams in the league. Well see.

Georgia Tech defeats Florida St with a last play field goal, to win 24-21. What a way to kick off the Football Season. This will be an interesting season, with the new 12 team playoff. Good teams will be left out.

Awesome game and I had a feeling FSU was going to lose when they were unable to put GaTech away even though they started the game as if it was going to be a blow-out.

The U got it going. I think they have a team this year. I was impressed with their win over Florida. My team looked good too. From what I've seen, Miami has the best team in the ACC. Clemson maybe. But they sure looked bad against Georgia.

The U looked calm, composed, assertive, and focused. I hadn’t seen them look that good since the 2001 National title team. However, that’s just one game and I’m hoping they can run through their schedules unscathed.

As for Bama, they looked like a team that WILL be in the hunt for another run at the title, and I no have any doubts about them not being among the ones who’ll make the playoffs.

I’ve got a feeling this year is going to be special. Let’s hope I’m right.

Alabama and its fans had some serious reservations during yesterday’s game against South Florida. In my opinion, South Florida lost the game when they were facing a 4 and 1 (I believe) late in the fourth quarter, and their coach opted for a field goal instead of going for it and keeping the drive alive.

It was all downhill from there, and when Bama scored, I knew they had taken control and would not relinquish.

Buckeyes looking good right now. Granted, two MAC schools that they’ve beaten, but it’s been dominant. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the season. And, waiting for the 49ers to kick off tomorrow night.

Alabama and its fans had some serious reservations during yesterday’s game against South Florida. In my opinion, South Florida lost the game when they were facing a 4 and 1 (I believe) late in the fourth quarter, and their coach opted for a field goal instead of going for it and keeping the drive alive.

It was all downhill from there, and when Bama scored, I knew they had taken control and would not relinquish.

Bama had OL issues. Two starters were out. And S Florida wanted to blitz non stop. Should all be back in Madison this Saturday. I see Miami broke the AP top 10. Texas probably has the best team right now.
