The body of Email Messages not showing

Hi
I have a 4s
The body of emails are not showing
The title and however many lines of the message I want are showing but when I click on a message the title shows but not the body of the message
If I then click reply the body of the message then shows below my reply signature
I thought it just might be a lag issue but the original message body never shows
Using it next to my ipad3 which is showing the body of the messages ok
I've had the 4s for about a month and it's been working fine and only started not showing the body of messages in the last 2 days
I've had a look at settings and can't see ant changes there
Id be very grateful for any advice please

Well I missed the obvious
I needed to do a restart and then the body of the messages were in view again
"have you tried switching it off and switching it back on again" might be an IT support joke but it does work
