So I've gotten pretty used to the camera bulge. When I pick up my significant others 5s, the camera being flush with the body just seems odd. Anyone else feel the same? Of course those with a case wouldn't know.

The rim on the camera doesn't bother me. I never think about it.

Don't notice it anymore as I haven't thought about it since the initial furore. I still think an extra millimetre in thickness to compensate and add an ever so slightly bigger battery would have been more preferable from my point of view.

Just get a very thin case. I've seen some clear coated cases around the market here and there. Check Amazon!

Coming from another phone that had a protruding lens that got VERY scratched, I immediately put this one in a case.

I put it in a case since day 1, so haven't noticed it. Loving the thin apple leather case, and protects the phone and the protruding lens.

I don't notice it because of my case, but I do wish they would've made it flush with the body. But, again, no big deal for me.
