Thank god for insurance

So I bought my iPhone last Friday and then had a pretty bad accident at work where it got ran over by a truck. It was terrible had the phone for 3 days and shattered it. But luckily the insurance covered it and sent me a brand new still in the box iPhone. So if your on the fence about insurance get it cause you never know when you will need it

Out of curiosity, where do you buy your insurance from?

It is through asurion. It's on my Verizon bill 10.99 a month. Pretty high but glad I had it. This is the first time in the 6 years that I've been with Verizon that I needed to make an insurance claim

so they put it on your bill? did you not have to download the app? i'm asking because i have to pay for the insurance separately and did not have that option with AT&T. i'd rather have it on the bill so i'm not making payments to multiple sources.

I think that is a Verizon thing. AT&T does not offer the insurace through your bill.

Verizon offers full replacement including theft and Loss for the IPhone for $9.18 a month with $169 deductible for the 16g and $199 for the 32g. No other insurance companies including square deal offer theft or loss coverages. AT&T offers no coverages. Insurance companies would not accept IPhone as part of the home insurance or any rider coverages.

Yes, the monthly insurance payment is through your cell phone bill, but the deductible is paid by credit or debit card.

Yea all those guys are correct. It cost 199 for the deductible as I have the 32gb. Makes me sick to know I have 526 dollars in this phone in only a week. But at least I had the insurance cause if not I would just have 326 dollars in a pile of parts that used to be an iPhone

Yea it was terrible phone came out of my pocket for about a 10 foot fall and didn't notice I lost it and when I found it there was a tractor trailer already backed over it

I can't speak for the other companies. Asurion is expensive but they worked great they even give you overnight shipping at no extra cost. And they sent me a completely new phone not refurbished it came in a sealed iPhone 4 box

this is untrue... AT&T offers the same insurance (asurion) options... the only difference is you pay that separate and not on the AT&T bill like you can with Verizon.
