Texts Over 160 Characters Not Being Received By Android Phone

Which specific apps were deleted? I'm having the same issue on my S7 Edge. I receive lengthier texts from some people, but not from my girlfriend. Haha, go figure.

Reading in some places that calling AT&T to adjust APN setting would work, but if I can avoid the phone call, I'd be happy.

My fiance was not receiving my texts that were over 160 characters. I purchased an unlocked Motorola X Pure Edition from Best Buy and have AT&T. To fix it I went to Settings > More > Cellular networks > Network operators and selected AT&T. As soon as I did that I tried sending her a long text (160+ characters) and she got the text.
