Tethering or cellular with iPad Pro 10.5

I think the buying decision really depends on how often you are going to be using cellular. If you plan to tether regularly i’d Rather spend the money and get the cellular version to avoid running down my iPhone’s battery. But if its something you will only use occasionally, just tether and save the money. As with most of these types of questions it comes down to use cases.

I’ve always went with the Wifi Only models.
I have my iPhone with me at all times, and I simply turn on mobile hotspot when there’s no wifi around.

This doesn't seem like an iPad Pro 10.5 issue. It's same for all of the iPads.

I would mean day job as IT dir as well as personal use. I only get cel modem tablets where the all in one or lots of employees handling it is an issue. For personal use my phone as hot spot or WiFi on premises is fine.
