Tethering iPhone to a mac over Bluetooth

Ok so I have a:
White MacBook running Mac OS X ver 10.5.7
2.4GHz Intel
2GB

AND

An iPhone 3G

I have managed to pair the computer and the iPhone but don't have any luck with the internet on it.

Tethering DOES work using the iphone cable, but bluetooth would be super slick. So any help in getting it to work, I will tip the scales!

I now get that error message, but I didn't before and still had problems.

Any ideas?
