Here's what he said. It worked for me:
Customize the tab in "Guest" (before you sign in). Then sign in with your account. Customized tab will be kept as same when you signed out

4.2 has this buggy thing when I'm typing a comment on a quote, the text field jumps up and down and I can't see the bottom line. There's too much jumping in general. It's kind of annoying.

I don't like the new cursor its huge. When typing everything is double spaced. I'm also not a fan of underlining tab. I thought it was much cleaner the way it was before. I agree with a comment I read the other day, pick a UI and go with it.

I hope they fix the jumpy jump soon. It's getting really annoying. I may go back to 4.0 until the next build.
