I’ve paid them more than enough. They keep changing their subscription plan, so to let us keep paying.
I’m done paying.

That's the same black Friday deal they offered. I got the $4.99 deal. I wish they had offered the lifetime at half price.

Well, a lot of sites are going to shop making their forums available on TT in 2021, so no renewal from me. I’ll start using web forums going forward.

Pretty much unanimous cost and # of people using TT. They can’t justify the cost anymore.

I gave up on TT when they kept telling me my password was incorrect, when it is not. So now I just use the web version of the forums.

Online forums have improved a lot. I know TideFans.com stopped using TapaTalk. They built a new site online that's really nice. But I still prefer it on TapaTalk. Online is still too much hassle on mobile.

Like you, I prefer to use Tapatalk to browse the iMore Forums, however, I’m going to try to solely use a web browser on my iPhone to browse the forums with for a few days and see how I feel afterwards.

As for the site you reference, the color scheme is quite nice and the conversations therein are quite interesting.

Nowadays, I still use Tapatalk, although it's very buggy. Also, I only get ads when outside my home network.
Using web forums is just a no-go for me, simply because they're extremely slow when you reach the monthly mobile data allowance (data rates go down from 200Mbps to 128Kbps).
