Easily the best iPhone I’ve had. I considered the iPhone X, but in the end opted for a space grey iPhone 8 Plus because of Touch ID, bigger screen and lower price

You won't regret it. To me the iPhone 8 plus is the serious get work done phone. As the iPhone X to me is more gimmicky and not as useful.

Forgive me. I see zero sense in comparing some of the mobiles mentioned here especially Android. Apple is Apple and if one enjoys that OS then thats fine but avoid trying comparisons as one cant.

Now the OP had an SE the jump from that to the iPhone 8 plus is going to be staggering even so some of that shock will be positive and also a little negative. Size and weight spring to mind as possible negatives but size is also one of its positives, big screen.

It is impossible to answer such questions really. We all need to see and feel the devices BEFORE making any choice, a smart phone is an important device these days and we each have our own needs to cater for.

Out of interest why did those two posters change from the Note 8 to the iPhone 8 plus? I own them both as I require both systems. To drop the Note 8 for the iPhone 8 intrigues me?

Kind regards, Ryland

I traded in my 7Plus for a space grey 8 Plus about a week ago. I’m intrigued by the X but after finally seeing it and holding it in my hands it was too small. Looks great, but not for me as of yet. I’ll eventually get an X is due time, but the 8plus is a beast! I can’t let go of the bigger phone size for now.

I actually prefer the weight of the 8 Plus to the 7 Plus. It's not much, but it's enough to make it feel just a little more solid. I know not every likes that, but I do. For me, there is such a thing as a phone being too light. I don't know how to explain it and I may be the only one that feels that way. lol.

It doesn’t feel in weight too different than the 7+.
That’s my opinion
