Take photos with light source on

Hello! I have an I phone 6. I am using it to take photographs of the retina (the back of the eyeball). To do this, I need to have a light source on before I take the photo to focus the correct image and then take the photo with the light source on as well. How can I accomplish this?

I don't think you can have the flashlight on at the same time as the camera without jailbreaking.

You can use another light source with your camera

Set camera to video. Enable flash to "on".

Start video with red button.
While running video, tap the white picture button to take still pics of the eye.
