Syncing iPhone to iTunes...

So i have had ZERO luck getting my iPhone (6 and now 6 plus) to sync to iTunes. I have to manually download the apps through iTunes so that I can easily get them back onto my phone.

I keep getting the error 54...

Any ideas?
