Syncing iPad and iPhone

I've synced my iPhone to my ipad. I leave my IPad at home unlocked. I don't mind my roommate using it for Internet search but is there a way I can tell if they are snooping my emails, txt etc from my iPhone?

No. If you do not want others "snooping your emails, txt, etc", you should not allow them access to your devices.
