iMore Question
Hi,
I have contacts saved both on iCloud and locally on my iphone, and would like to have only one repository of data - iCloud.
To achieve this, I have moved all the contacts from the iCloud folder on Outlook into the local folder, hoping that the contacts locally saved on my iPhone would be few. Unfortunately, there are still many thousands saved on my phone (I am an executive recruiter). Worse, some contacts have been updated locally (the default saving location setting has been "On My iPhone" for a long time) and probably have better information than those on the cloud.
How can
- see which contacts on the phone have more recent information than those on the cloud?
- save these ones onto the Cloud? Hopefully there is a way to merge them with / prefer them to those I already have.
- Delete the old ones (duplicates) still on the phone.
At worse, I would like to export all the contacts from the phone into the Cloud or into a file.
MANY thanks in advance for your help
