Sync to Different Computer?

So I have work today till 5pm and supposedly ios5 will be launching around 1, eastern time. And work has been slow recently, so as you can probably guess I am going to want to update during the day. However, the computer I use at work is not the the one I use to sync my iPhone to.

Would I be able to just get the update from this computer? Or would I have to wait till I get home to install it?

I am trying to do the same thing. I dont really want to wait till I get home to use my "regular" computer. I have my iPad2 and my iP4 so i figure i will try with my iPad first to see if it works.

I'm sure we will be able to update it, but I guess my question is will it erase all my apps/music? It wouldn't matter because I backed it up this morning. I'm just curious to what will happen.

Update it, you'll lose everything, but when you get home, restore it to a backup.
