Okay, so I have my iPhone currently set up to sync with my Microsoft Exchange set up at work, where my outlook has all my contacts.

I also have mobile me set up to sync with my Yahoo address book.

Is there anyway to get these all into one large "cloud" - rather than having the two address books? Ideally I would love to have mobile me = exchange = yahoo. Right now, on my iPhone, I have some contacts listed twice, some listed with different information (and yes, that means I need to update some contacts), some people even listed three times (mostly due to yahoo).

Any ideas?

Chris

Export it all to Excel (or whatever you Mac people use), straighten it out there, where you can sort on any field and make your corrections or merges (as necessary), and then import back into Outlook.

No. exchange will not allow you to export or copy or sync their contacts anywhere else for security reasons.

you're stuck doing it by hand to keep them in sync

I generally will export the contact as a vcard (in Outlook choose a contact, file-save as) and then that can be imported into many other apps.

Mobile Me will sync only with certain desktop apps. to keep yahoo in sync you need some other method to sync them together which I don't know about.

In that case, I'd sync to Google, in addition to Exchange...fix 'em there, and then keep on syncing.

they already have yahoo syncing with mobile me. you're basically saying they should sync mobile me with google instead, which doesn't help much.

their activesync slot is taken by exchange and google contact sync over the air requires this slot

it may fix yahoo being evil but moving to google doesn't change that they still have to keep two sources even by hand.

I keep myself happy by only keeping work contacts in exchange and personal contacts in mobileme. if I have the same person twice their work info is in one contact and personal info in the other.

Go to Outlook > File > Import/Export > Export a file > CSV (Windows) > Contacts and then name the file and map the fields. My Exchange will allow me to export.
