Sync problem: An unknown error occurred (-54)

I've seen this on the forum before, but don't get it! I just recently started having trouble syncing my music between my iPhone 6 (iOS 9 PB 3) and iTunes (12.2.2.25). I've never had issues syncing since way back in iPhone 4 days.

To make things worse, I unchecked all music selections in iTunes, which did a great job of cleaning my phone of all music. So... Any ideas on how to get my music back on the phone?

There is an issue with iTunes and syncing with the iOS9 betas. For instance in my case on Dev B5 I can not sync apps.

So, are you just waiting for the GM release or did you find some workaround to the issue? Possibly use earlier version of itunes, for example.

I downgraded back to 8.4.1. Too many sync problems and some of my favorite apps didn't work. It was a pain, but everything's working again. I'll wait a few weeks for the finished product.
