There is a Swype type app...but it's worthless without total iOS integration. Why would you want to have to open the Swype type app (I forget what it was called), type your message, and then copy/paste it into your email or text message?

Set and match.

No there is no Swype for the iPhone. App store or Cydia

The closest thing you can get to it is ShapeWriter in the app store, but of course, it is not integrated with Apples SMS application. It's a stand alone app that makes you copy and paste the text you wrote. Which is pretty much a huge hassle.

The makers of Swype want to bring it to the iPhone, but they will not be able to integrate it with the SMS application. So it will also be a standalone app if it goes through, which will be a major disappointment.
