Switch SIM from VZW 5c to 6?

My new iPhone 6 came with a SIM. Is it ok to just use the SIM from my 5c? Or is there a reason I should call VZW to activate the new SIM?

As long as they're the same size - just swap... you will need to use Verizon's online customer service/My Verizon and make sure the new phone's MEID is changed on your number for legacy 3G/CDMA system compatibility on Verizon's network... Your new phone should come with complete instructions on properly getting it activated on your account.
