Support for this gen

I have had it! This is my second Android tablet for my kids! The lard was a Kindle (first gen)! I hate them & the apps I want are got iOS but for a 3 yo I'm not going to get it.....am I? I was looking at another and Granny was talking Nambi but maybe an earlier gen? I hear 1st gen is a Dino. What about 2nd? I have the 3rd, 64g given to me last year for my bday & not planning an upgrade anytime soon.

If you're asking how close the 2nd Gen iPad is to "end of life"... It's getting there. I would be surprised if iOS8 will be supported on the iPad2.

Check out Apple's Refurbished store - there are some iPad2s available... as well as other models - you should be able to find something at a price you're willing to pay...

Yes. Is that how we say it? End of life? I thought it was. I wouldn't get it for myself.

Third too? Well my gf with 4 kids uses her iPhone 5 more than her iPad. It's a one hander. Maybe I'll just get a 6 with a bigger screen according to the rumor but seems the rumors have been reality for the most part.

I think the 3rd Gen will get iOS8... albeit will not have all the bells and whistles... but will probably be the last iOS the 3rd Gen iPad will see...
