Maybe this summer, I will attempt to figure this out... or at least begin to understand it all. Every time I read about shortcuts, I realize that I'm missing out on a really good thing. I have a couple that I got from somewhere and use somewhat regularly, but to be completely honest, I barely remember to use them, or where I even got them from! :cant-watch:

I’m still learning but find some of the shortcuts I make adds steps that I can do without

But I did learn a lot hanging in the Reddit r/shortcuts subreddit. A lot of great ideas in there

Nice reading this article I’m glad that things are getting stable in the past every time you update iOS most of the shortcuts break.

I have four that I use constantly and trying to debug them makes me want to give up

TEXT BOMB 3
ALIBI 2
Water reject 1
Microwave converter

The following number is the debugging times

Some of my older and new Shortcuts don't work. I get messages that tell me I have to do certain things. And I have no clue what it's talking about, or how to do it.

I did not/do not bother with shortcuts ! The idea of spending hours learning how to do something that I can do anyway, and now hear that if I did it’s not permanent !! is not very enticing. Perhaps someone can suggest a shortcut to me that (really) helps in the everyday use of ipads and iphones ?

I wish Apple would include Shortcuts "how-tos" in their Today at Apple sessions!

I created a shortcut that speaks my battery percentage whenever I plug in or unplug my iPad into or from a power source. I also have the shortcut on my iPhone. It is quite useful to me.
