I’ve got a clear silicone plastic case on order, due in this week for my iPhone 12 PM. It is a slimmer fit but perfect for my pleather belt-fixed case.

I looked at the Clear Apple Case today but I can’t take seeing the dust thru the case. I’m kinda weird like that.

Hmm...wife and I had clear phone cases with our XS Max and XS phones and no dust problems or yellowing. I’ll report on my experience with the new incoming cases.

How is the edge, end and corner fit with the Sheath case?

Thank you.

Excellent no probs, buttons are a bit better on apples, sheath is a bit slimmer. Sheath still works on the magsafe charger but not as strong.
I keep swapping between the 2 leather at home sheath for work.

So I now have 3 cases. The Apple Leather Case, Spigen Thin Fit and Incipio DualPro Classic. Of the 3 I actually prefer the $13 Incipio. It fits perfectly, offers decent protection and the hard shell has just the right amount of texture. It’s a steal at 13 bucks.

Well, now two brands I've liked for modestly priced cases have had either impossible or poor phone fit. I also see Specks I've liked are 1/2 price at Best Buy with some poor reviews.

I cringe at the price but it means an Apple Silicone is waiting for pickup later to join the leather. I need something easy to clean (pandemic friendly?) because I get exposed to high risk and grime when I'm doing support and projects in our stores.

To be fair, I am somewhat picky and can't stand the fat, many shape or grooves molded and cases that are popular. The 12 PM phone also pushes it for size. I just hope the my first Apple Silicone since 6S Plus is more durable. Slim opaque TPU types have lasted.

With luck and the phones shipping the brands I've liked in the past will fix their stuff but I have to be in the high risk places using a phone sooner.
Have you tried a OtterBox defender series case? For years I never tried one so when I got my note 20 I picked one up and loved it also got one for my mini who's makes it a great feel in my hand.

I've liked those over time but not the corner tabs newer ones have.

As a general rule I can't stand stuff from that brand and for the bigger 12s then still seem like ugly hunks of plastic.

Yeah, I'm fussy on cases. At work I get them in volume. The power that's come to a few mobile apps - Meraki, Microsoft cloud (365, Azure), Teams, mapping app I use - mean I use my phone a lot. Our physical work sites have a big pandemic safety element so now the ease of cleaning is also an issue. That's made smooth and washable more important.

In the past DTTO and Ringke have had great modestly priced cases. My hope is they'll fix the horribly wrong molding from the ones I returned but it's fun seeing what else is out there. It's a surprise at how much more I like the new Apple silicone cases over the old ones.

Thanks all for the input. I can keep at this first word problem when on hold as I am for the moment.

:)

I ordered these 2 cases earlier this morning. The Casekoo case was shipped this morning and will be delivered between 5pm-10pm today and the other case will be delivered tomorrow. I’ll update with pics later.

I have a very, very, very similar case for my blue Pro Max but my power button is not exposed.

I’m currently using the Casekoo Pacific Blue on my phone and I love it! At first it felt slippery to use, but after a few hours using it, I got used to the feel of the case. The buttons are covered and the volume buttons were hard to press but now they’re not. The case is thin and don’t add any bulk. It’s also comfortable for me to hold. My Pro Max still retains the square design. All in all, I like this case and will be keeping it.
