Strangest thing... Pandora or iTunes starts playing after call

Hi! Not every time but about 1 out of every 3 times either Pandora (usually) or iTunes will start playing when I hang up from a call. I stop all music, close the app but it will start playing automatically sporadically when I have my headphones in. Any idea how to stop this (aside from deleting those apps) ?

Are you using the buttons on your headphones to end the call? If so, could you be pressing the end button to long which is starting the last played music item?
