Strange behaviour in browser, splits screen

Folks I'm stumped here.
I'm next to a woman getting my mani pedi and her screen does this in the browser:

My iPad rMini does this in landscape, iPhone 6 does not.

No it was an iPhone 6.

Playing with mine, I just figured it out. I keep my display on "zoom" and in that configuration when you turn to landscape it's just like before where the bookmarks etc. are at the bottom. I went in and turned zoom off and when turned landscape it displays just like my iPad. As mentioned above, she just needs to hit the bookmark to dismiss it.
