Return of the Jedi was only half a movie. All Vader/Emperor/Luc. It's like all the other characters just disappeared half way through

Rotj had a duty to focus on those three! The actions on board the death star fulfilled the prophecy where "the one" (anakin) brought "balance to the force".
By destroying Sidious and himself, he left Luke as the only jedi master, however weak he may have been! Without so Much of the movie focused in that plot the whole series would have been a waste.

Both jar-jar and the ewoks were terrible. I agree with Rene I pay no attention to the ewoks wether they blink or not lol.
