When the iPhone X was announced, Craig F mentioned that you could squeeze the X to temporarily disable Face ID. Has anyone been able to do this? I haven’t so I’m wondering if it has even been released yet.

Hold down the button on the right and either one of the volume button. This will take you to screen where you see the slide to power off. Do not slide to power off, just hit cancel. This will disable the Face ID and will require you to enter your PIN.

Ah okay - I thought it was pressure sensitive edges like the Pixel 2, where you actually squeeze the device.
