SPRINT'S iPhone 5 won't text while abroad - does anyone know about this issue?

hi.
i have a Sprint iPhone 5.
I am abroad, and inserted a local carrier's SIM. It works! I can make calls, receive, and browse 3G.
I can also receive texts, BUT i cannot send them!!!

I can only send MMS.

This is so weird. Anyone knows about this?
Is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like you need to change the APN settings for the local carriers SIM.
What those are i dont know.
And not 100% sure that will solve the problem but thats my best guess.
