Yes. Most likely either. Give it a day or so and check with your Sprint rep/store to get their take on it to verify.

in the keynote today, they said preorders were on Oct 7th.. But that is the same day as Sprint's media event. I wonder if this date is still true with this in mind.

I suspect that the Oct 7 Sprint announcement is to do THEIR announcement of the iPhone. Just my guess, tho.
