Speakerphone echo on iPhone 11

When I turn on speakerphone on my iPhone 11, the person on the receiving end of the call hears a terrible echo of their voice. This is a known issue by Apple, yet no fix yet. Has anyone found any workaround for this problem? Apple needs to step up their QC.

I can only assume this is not widespread and I have yet to experience what you’ve described. With that being said, I hope the issue is resolved for you soon.

The only time I experience an echo on my iPhone is when I am a home and talking to a friend who rings me on his hands free car speaker via another iPhone.

Yeah, fairly widespread. 17 pages on Apple support community!
Is the current iOS version 13.3.1? Maybe I’m on the wrong one, and it has the issue.

I have heard of this happening on the most recent iOS Beta (13.3.1), but not the official iOS (13.3). I'm sure it will be fixed before it's released to the general public. That's what betas are for.

Update: it’s an issue with 13.3.1 beta. I went back to 13.3 official version and problem is gone!
