INTRODUCTION :::
Hello, my name is William Queen and I'm the creator of Badjano Entertainment and Space Scav, an iOS arcade game that I released on february this year.
I was wondering if someone could take a look at it, I know there's plenty of great indie games out there and that it is very difficult to play them all, but I dedicated a lot on this game and was hoping if you could at least tell me what you think, or maybe if there was something you feel that must be improved
DESCRIPTION :::
The game has many inspirations, each one dedicated to a single aspect of the game, such as the gameplay from Super Stardust HD for the PS3, the maps and scenario has a little bit from Doom, the AI and behaviour was inspired by Diablo, the style of spaceships and enemies from Descent, and many others.
The game is an isometric dual stick shooter in tight claustrophobic environments, with fog of war that prevents you from seeing what awaits in areas before you get there. You have three weapons to use, a fast machine gun, rapid-fire rockets, and a plasma cannon.
There are two control schemes, manual if the player chooses to have more precise shots based on his skills, or auto if he prefers to focus purely on evasion. You can also enter slow motion by double tapping the movement joystick or enable triple damage by double tapping the shooting joystick for a brief period of time.
The controls are responsive and the game is quite challenging, as you have limited space to maneuver and need to evade dangerous projectiles and other hazards.
