New to iphone (came over from BB)and searched the forums but did not find anything on this. Is there a quick way to silence all sounds except the phone? I need to let the phone ring at night while asleep but do not want the other sounds waking me. Thanks!

No iPhone doesn't have a profile setup like the blackberry did to allow this. You would have to go in, and adjust all settings manually. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. That was the biggest thing i missed when i first got my iPhone.
