Sound & iPhone 4

Has anyone experienced problems with sound on their iPhone 4 & found a solution? There is no sound coming from the left side & extremely low volume on the other side. I have tested music, ringtones, anything to do with sound, the volume control has a problem in every area requiring sound. There is not a sound problem during a conversation.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Open Settings>> General>> Accessibility>> and see if the balance control got messed with... other than that - it might be a hardware issue that an Apple GeniusBar appointment could identify an issue if you have one.

I checked as suggested, setting OK. I agree, I think it is a hardware problem. Thank you so much!

And have you restarted the phone by holding the home & power/sleep button until you see the Apple on the screen and letting go of the buttons?

Just go ta Apple and let them fix it for you Or you can go to a technician for a lesser price
