Sonos is taking on Siri with its own voice assistant

Sonos reportedly plans to introduce its own voice assistant for its audio products in the next few weeks.

Interesting. Sonos looks to be providing a much more limited voice assistant. Unlike the big three, Sonos won’t require significant AI because it won’t provide a answers everything voice assist. It’ll looks like it’ll provide only Sonos device feature control. This allows completely on device and likely rapid, accurate response time. Simplicity at its finest. But it also paves the way for bigger future uses.
