Something is eating my battery....

So, last night I noticed that my battery drop tremendously in a couple of hours. So I looked for the cause and I believe it is Siri. 53% in the last 24 hrs. I turned off Siri this morning to see if it helps.

Any input on this? Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks

Do you use Siri a lot? I use her a few times per day, but I don't have that drain.

Because of it running in the background you mean? It could have something to do with Siri suggestions but I doubt that would consume that much power.

She must have gone rogue. Leave it off a few days, then turn back on and see what happens.

disable siri when not use

In iOS 9 or later, Proactive services like Siri Suggestions (on the far left home screen page) will consume power. It has nothing to do with the actual Siri.
If you don't like Siri Suggestions, you can disable it in Settings > General > Spotlight Search.
