I have The software update turned on to update automatically. Which I thought it would've done it but it didn't. Isn't that what it's designed to do. Lol. I currently have 6.0

In theory... but - how often and when does the process check?? I usually see an update is available, and manually update...

so, the more often you check manually it will update automatically? I just did the update & it seems to be running more slow.

I went to buy an ATV for my uncle for his birthday. The guy told me you can tap your iphone to the ATV box & it will automatically log you in using you Apple ID if you have ios 7 & the latest software (he heard from customers)
