So why does iPad Air to not have a game Centre

So I looked on my homepage and game Centre was not there I don't know why it wasn't there I think it's because I have an iPad Air to and I'm trying to play Bloons Tower defence with my friend but I can't without game Centre so why doesn't iPad Air to have game Centre,

If the device is running iOS 10 or later then Game Center is no longer available as an app, but it is available as a setting.
