Smart Cover Differences?

I'm buying a new smart cover for my iPad 3 and I like how the MC942LL/A model has the grey microfiber interior. Would it fit properly on my device? I know that the 3 and 4 are just a bit thicker than the 2 and that is why Apple released the MD310LL/A for the 3, but it the blue interior just looks bad.

Im talking about the one released with the iPad 2. Its not a big deal but I do like the gray microfiber
