Small Boom Box?

I've struggled for years with adding music to my golf cart. Last summer I hit on almost the ultimate solution simply by streaming Pandora. The only way it could be better is if it were a little louder and with better base. Does anyone know of a battery operated fairly small boombox type unit I could plug my 3G into that would improve the sound quality and volume? I've found several solutions for ipods, but nothing specifically for the iphone. Thanks!
