Slow loading Twitter after latest update

Anyone experiencing slow loading tweets and profiles after the latest update. I'm using Twitter on iPhone 5s running iOS 8.

A search of the Twitter Status Page doesn't reveal any problems. I haven't used the official Twitter app in a while, but everything appears to load normally via Tweetbot.

Loading up normally on my iPhone 5S and a bit sluggish on my iPad 2.
They update the app very frequently so maybe the next update will result in a snappier experience.
