Skype video calls

Maybe this is silly, but does Skype video calling work on the Verizon iPhone? I thought is was only FaceTime.

yes it does. i actually was able to skype with my friend who is abroad in germany and the quality was excellent.

Are you asking if you can make video skype calls on wifi and 3g? If so: Yes to both

I skyped with my neighbor and he was on a PC. The picture of me was better then the one I saw of him. He couldn't believe I was on my phone.

idk why people wouldn't use this all the time over facetime I mean you can do skype on 3g you have to be on wifi for facetime.

Plus, FaceTime is iOS or Mac only. So if you want to speak to a PC person via video Skype is the nly way.

Yahoo messenger and Tango also do video calling over 3G.
